Founded in 1974, Prochem Europe Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of cleaning and maintenance products for carpets, fabrics and floors. Products are manufactured at the company’s UK manufacturing site and are available from an extensive network of distributors.
Prochem also provide a wide variety of carpet, fabric and floor cleaning equipment, and offer a range of industry recognised training courses, covering the latest cleaning techniques and maintenance methods.
Prochem’s original eCommerce website was launched back in 2011 and was in need of an upgrade due to an ageing design and lack of mobile device support.
Digital Fizz developed a new eCommerce website for Prochem, migrating their 400+ product catalogue to our cutting-edge, mobile optimised platform.
The website features an intuitive content management system allowing Prochem to add new products, manage orders and post latest news updates.
We incorporated advanced features such as an interactive distributor map, and live search functionality which automatically displays the most relevant search results as a user enters their search query, expediting the shopping process.
Prochem required that the website functioned with their current payment gateway, Worldpay. We implemented a seamless integration of this payment platform, making use of SSL hosting for optimal security of customer data and GDPR compliance.
We also assisted in the migration of customer accounts from Prochem’s old website to the new website platform, with customers notified of the website’s launch with access details via a mass mailing.
Prochem’s old website had long-established Google rankings which we ensured were retained and improved upon via an SEO strategy which was coordinated with the website’s launch.
